The trip will take place across 3 days and is approx 103 miles plus an potential 15 miles on-road (depending if we get the train back to Ludlow). There is approx 13,000ft ascent so some nice big days but what goes up must come down :o) There are some spectacular sights along the way too such as the impressive Claerwen Dam and the Teifi Pools…

The official route starts at Knighton and runs to Dovey Junction near Machynlleth on the west coast.

we will get an early start on the Saturday and drive to near Knighton and then cycle to Rhayader, returning on the Monday evening

Day 1 – Knighton to Rhayader, 54km, 1200m of climbing
Day 2 – Rhayader to Llangurig, 74km, 1600m of climbing
Day 3 – Llangurig to Machynlleth, 47km, 1200m of climbing

We have our ever reliable and extremely popular support crew lined up so we can cycle light and have our gear transported for us. There is the option to join up just for walking but priority will need to go to cyclists.
