Staying at Gwern Gof Uchaf Campsite, in the Ogwen Valley on the A5 between Capel Curig and Bethesda (grid reference 674604)
The campsite is located on a working hill farm at the foot of Tryfan peak with plenty of walking and climbing options straight from the tent door. The charge is £5 per adult (£4 per child) per night including showers and parking.
Walks:
There will be walks organised by Claire on the Saturday and Sunday leaving from the campsite – a long walk over the Carneddau on Saturday, Tryfan on Sunday. Or you are welcome to organise alternative walks/activities.

The nearest pubs/cafes are in Capel Curig 3 miles away but hopefully the weather will be good enough for a BBQ on the Saturday night – bring your own food!
