Meet at Midgham station (in Woolhampton) at 6.30 for a 6.5 mile walk past Douai Abbey to Chapel Row and Midgham. The 18.12 train from Reading and the 18.13 from Newbury both arrive before 6.30, alternatively there are parking spaces for public use on the south side of the Row Barge pub just across the canal from the station. Food at the Row Barge after the walk (last food orders at 10).
