We have booked a house near Montgomery (Mid Wales) for our December (Christmas Extravaganza) trip – 4th to 7th December (3 nights): Celyn in Montgomery. Approximate cost will be £90 per person for the accommodation.

After the last few years of travelling up to Snowdonia in December for a weekend wash out, we thought we’d go for somewhere not so far (about 3 hours drive from Newbury) and focus more on the social aspect with the house providing hot tub, sauna, games room – though we will also be walking including some of the Offas Dyke path which is on the doorstep.
