Black Mountain, Glebe Barn, near Crickhowell
A nice easy one to start off the year (just a 2 hour drive away) and blow away those cobwebs from the festive season – traditionally known as the “comfy sofa” trip.
We’ve been to this barn a few times before and it is NMC’s most “luxurious” accommodation – twin/triple en-suite rooms with a sauna thrown in for good measure, not a bunk bed or sleeping bag in sight.
Sleeps 11 but if it fills up quickly we can book the adjoining Rectors Barn too. Some nice ridge walking from the barn, and there’s always the popular Sugar Loaf a short walk away.
Cost for the accommodation will be about £36 per person for the 2 nights.
