“Comfy Sofa” trip Staying at The Glebe Barn, Llanbedr, near Crickhowell (grid reference 239203)

This luxury barn (by NMC standards) is located in the village of Llanbedr – the barn sleeps 11 and the Rectors Stable joining the barn sleeps 6. Centrally heated throughout, there is a fully equipped kitchen and open plan dining room/ living room (with comfy sofas). All rooms sleep 2 or 3 (no bunks!) and each has their own toilet/shower room. There is also a sauna – perfect after a cold day out in the hills! All bedding and towels are provided.

The charge is £18 per person per night (assuming all places are filled).

Walks:
There will be walks organised on the Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will be a long ridge walk in the Black Mountains whilst Sunday will be a 12 mile walk from Llangattock onto Mynydd Llangatwg and back along the Monmouthshire & Brecon canal – both walks subject to weather conditions – there could be snow!

Other Information
There will be a group meal organised on the Saturday night, but there is a pub in Llanbedr for those who prefer this option.
