A nice local walk 10 minutes drive from Newbury, this is a 13.5 mile off-road circular walk with afternoon tea and family pub meal at the end.
We will all meet at 10.45 am at the Swan in East Ilsley (http://www.theswaneastilsley.co.uk) where we will head north to the ridgeway and then west for a few miles past Brims Ditch. We will then drop into the village of Farnborough where we can stop at the splendid Saddleback farm shop (http://www.saddlebackfarmshop.co.uk) offering meats and fresh produce, along with a tasty looking snack menu. We will then head eastwards back to East Ilsley and the pub for drinks and meal.
