For a bit of fun and navigation practise, we have a night walk that will start/finish at The Carpenters Arms Pub, Burghclere (http://www.carpentersarms-burghclere.co.uk) with drinks in the pub afterwards.
Start time is 4.00 pm and the walk is 7 miles across country taking in Beacon Hill before crossing the A34 and coming back along the old disused Didcot railway line. I expect the walk to have finished by 7.00. There should be plenty of time to have a meal/snack in the pub or drink or head home early ready for work the next day…
