Following on from the 2010 London bike ride, we are going to cycle the South Downs.
Dumping cars somewhere in Winchester (does anyone know anyone who lives there?) and get train with our bikes to Eastbourne on a Thursday night, staying in Eastbourne YHA, cycle to Truleigh Hill YHA on Friday (36 miles), Wetherdown Hostel on Saturday (43 miles) and then back to Winchester on Sunday (19 miles).
The hostels are available on 12th May or 9th June weekends, sharing 3 or 6 bedded rooms – total cost £60 each for the 3 nights. I’m happy to book for 6 if you commit now! Train fare will be about £30.
