Bryn Llys, Snowdonia trip 6th-9th December 2024
The last trip of the year is getting closer! We have found an excellent converted barn, Bryn Llys, which is at the foot of Nant Francon valley near to Bethesda in the heart of Yr Wydffa National Park (Snowdonia). It sleeps 12, there are 3 twin bedded rooms and two family bedrooms, all are en-suite. It also has a large sitting room, dining room, a games room with table tennis and 10 acres of garden to explore!

On Saturday, there will be a navigation exercise, set by Mark, and will be similar to previous years. This is entirely voluntary and 10-20km in length, depending on how much you/your group choose to do. Briefing Friday evening when you arrive. If you’re not sure what this entails just ask previous attendees – it is a lot of fun, no matter what your skill level or the weather! Then back for a well-earned Christmas dinner.
We also have the accommodation booked for Sunday night, so you can shower even if leaving that day. Sunday’s meal will be a curry using whatever is left over from Saturday’s meal.
It will cost approx. £75.00 for Friday/Saturday. We have 25% discount for staying on Sunday and will split the cost between those who are staying. Plus, we will need to pay for the Christmas Dinner.
