New Date: 18th/19th March 2022
I have booked Dinefwr National Trust Bunkhouse, which is situated to the west side of the Brecon National Park. On one of the days we are hoping to meet up with the Brecon Mountain club to do a search to find World War Crash sites using our navigational skills (led by Dorian past NMC President). Another possible walk could be along part of the Beacons Way which stretches east to west through the Brecon National Park. Details to follow.
Dinefwr National Trust Bunkhouse, Llandeilo, Carmarthen, SA19 6RT about 3 hours from Newbury. It is situated in the Dinefwr Castle estate which is a nature reserve.

What’s the property like:
The bunkhouse sleeps 16 people in 3 rooms. It was originally part of the living quarters for the female servants of the Dinefwr Park estate. It has an open plan lounge, kitchen/diner and a log burner with stone walls and exposed beams. All the NT properties we have stayed in have been excellent!
It will cost approximately £45 each for two nights depending on numbers (suitable for adults only).
Food and travel are extra. We will have a group meal on Saturday evening to make the best of such great accommodation. Any volunteers to cook?
