NMC Christmas Walk – Saturday 17th December.
1 space left for the meal. Anyone is entitled to come along for the walk and drinks in the pub however
The walk starts at Thatcham station and goes south east looping round to finish at Woolhampton (7.5 miles).
Train = Newbury Station 11:13 arriving Thatcham @ 11:20 ready to start the walk at roughly 11:30 (or a quick beer @ the Swan first)
Return = Midgham Station 17:29, 18:29 or 20:06 arriving Newbury at 17:44, 18:43 or 20:18 (last train)
A number of people are starting the walk from Costa in Newbury high street at 10:15 am. This will add 3 miles to the walk…
Christmas lunch is at the Rowbarge where we have booked an initial 20 seats for 3.30 pm with a choice of either 2 course or 3 course meals. After a few more drinks and some merriment we can catch the train back to newbury.
