Day Walk: Cherhill Down & the Lansdowne Monument

Starting at 10:30 from Smallgrain Picnic area (situated north east of Devizes off hte A361 on the Bishops Cannings to Quemerford Road).

Join us on this varied walk which will wind through Calstone Coombes, along a Roman road and up onto the chalk grassland of Cherhill Down Monument at 250m. On the way back down we will have a great view of the Cherhill white horse. Save some energy for the short climb back to the car park. Bring Lunch!

Dogs welcome but please note that due to livestock and ground nesting birds, they will have to be on leads at time including on the chalk grassland
