Earlier this year we stayed in the Tylau Lodge bunkhouse, near to Hay-on-Wye and loved it. So we have booked it again for our January trip as it’s not too far, has the luxury of a log burner and has comfy sofas!
Last year we walked from Hay Bluff and Lord Hereford’s Knob, but for those who may go again there are plenty of other areas nearby that we can explore

Situated south of Hay on Wye on the edge of the Black Mountains, Hay Bluff (677m) and Lord Hereford’s Knob (690m) are nearby. It’s only a 20 minute walk into Hay.

What’s the property like:
The bunkhouse sleeps 12 people in 5 rooms: 3 rooms with two single beds, 2 rooms with 3 single beds. It has an open plan lounge, kitchen/diner with a log burner and large windows that open onto a garden area with fantastic views.
Cost:
It will cost approximately £25.00 per night depending on numbers
