It is recommended in the Cool Camping Guide and has spectacular views with footpaths from the site leading to a variety of Lakeland fells including Dowcrag, Harter Fell and Coniston Old Man. There is also a local pub a short walk away.

Facilities include: Showers, toilets, washing up, drinking water. Camp Fires are not allowed but BBQ’s are.

Information: Bookings are not usually needed but it is best to book as a group if there are enough of us.
Some of us may travel up Thursday night, do let me know if you are interested in that option.
