A day walk as training for the Ridgeway 40 and possibly Scotland at Easter. This would be along the Lambourn Valley walk, from Lambourn back to Newbury – around 16 miles.
8th April (one week before Scotland trip)
There is a bus that leaves Newbury at 8.50, arriving at 9.35. It costs £4 – and is a full sized bus (compared to ~£45 for an 8-person people carrier taxi).
