Lake District: Quest For Snow Trip – 10th to 12th February 2023
We try every year, and who knows, we may strike lucky with some excellent winter mountain conditions in 2023 – it has happened in the past! We will be staying at Sykeside next to the Brotherswater Inn: Holiday accommodation Lake District: Sykeside Camping Park and Brotherswater Inn – bunkhouse. This gives us easy access to Fairfield, Helvellyn and High Street, all excellent hill walks. We have stayed here before and the rooms are good and very warm. We will eat in the pub on Saturday night, as the shared kitchen facilities are basic. As is common with Lake District trips, many people take the Friday off from work and travel up Thursday night staying on route, making the most of our time in the mountains following a longer journey.
