For this year’s Christmas trip we’re heading to Southern Snowdonia, staying in the town of Blaenau Ffestiniog. This will give us access to the lesser walked but rugged Moelwyns including the Snowdonia Slate Trail, and the distinctive mountain Cnicht – the Matterhorn of Wales.
Always a popular trip no matter what the weather (and there have been some shocking experiences in the last few years!) the weekend usually involves a fun group navigation exercise followed by an extravagant Christmas meal on the Saturday night – a weekend not to be missed.
The traditional cottage sleeps 12/13 in a mixture of twins and doubles with 3 separate shower/bath rooms, and will cost around £75 per person for 3 nights.
