Guided traverse of the Cuillin Ridge, June 18-21. Skye has stunning scenery and offers many other options for superb day walks, scrambling, climbing, with an abundance of wildlife – otters, seals, eagles, etc. You don’t have to do the ridge – you can just leverage the accommodation.
Pete and I are competing in the Scottish MM the previous weekend, and will be booking accommodation on Skye from Sunday June 14 – most likely a small house.
Skye is a popular destination, and it is also hard to secure guides for the ridge, so I need a firm commitment by Monday Feb 17th.
Cost depends greatly on numbers. With 4 people, guide will be £360, and a house around £750, so budget around £550 plus getting there. If it is just 4 of us, we’ll have a hire car and can pick you up from Inverness if needed.

- Do you want to do the ridge traverse?
- What dates you need accommodation on Skye?
Guided Cuillin Ridge Traverse
Some of you have the skills and confidence to complete the traverse unguided – God be with you. However, Pete and I don’t so we’re using West Coast Mountain Guides. Please read that link.
If like me, you need to brush up your climbing skills, then think about coming on the scrambling weekend or the climbing nights.
