For the weekend of February 25th – 27th NMC has booked Bwthyn Bach cottage in the village of Trefeglwys, Powys. The cottage sleeps 17 in 5 bedrooms & is full of period charm ( it is 300+ years old ). Whilst there is no central heating there are fireplaces & a Rayburn cooker so the place gets quite cosyonce the fires are lit. Logs are provided for a small fee.

The cottage is next door to the Red Lion pub which has a good review on tripadvisor should we decide not to self cater.
The owners charge £20.00ppn but this is capped at £170.00 a night. Camping is possible in the garden.
The village is about a 3 hr drive from Newbury.
Walking is possible from the cottage, & Plynlimon is a short drive away. The area to the west of the village is wild & remote, but with several good hills. A hillbaggers paradise…
