The walk starts from Vernham Dean playing fields where there is plenty of parking with the option to finish with drink at the George Inn if people wish (note the pub shuts at 6pm on a Sunday):

The route will take us up over Haydown Hill & Tidcomb Down before looping back around Conholt Hill. There is approx 900ft ascent.
All welcome to join including children. It may be muddy underfoot but the forecast for the rest of the week is good so hopefully it won’t be too bad…
