The next Austrian Alping Club (UK) Lecture at RISC Reading will held on Wednesday, 13 March, 19.45h for 20.00h in The Conference Room, RISC, London Road, Reading, RG1 4PS.
MIKE HOPE will give a lecture entitled “CHILLED OUT IN PATAGONIA”
As an Alpinist and adventurer Mike had been captivated for many years with the land of Patagonia. In 2013, with three friends he realised an opportunity to climb, kayak and travel in that area including the fabled ‘Land of Fire’ and in the footsteps of Fitzroy, Darwin, Magellan and Drake.
Admission: FREE for members with a CURRENT MEMBERSHIP CARD; non-members and guests £3, from 19.45h onwards. *NB the arrangements for parking have changed – see below and attached information.
