Staying at Beer YHA. I have booked 12 places comprising of 2 rooms of 6 (one with en-suite). The price if 12 people go will be a bargin £22.33 per person for 2 nights!!!
Cooked breakfast (£4.99), packed lunches (£5.75) & 3 course evening meals (£7.95) are also available if pre-ordered as well. This can be organised nearer the time (arrive on the Friday night with a curry to greet us???)
There are also plenty of options to eat and drink in the village just a few minutes walk away.
Walks:
There are 2 walks planned both starting from the hostel and following the Jurassic Coastal path. Saturday we walk West towards the picturesque seaside town of Sidmouth (8.5 miles) and on to Otterton (additional 3-4 miles) depending on timings. On Sunday we head East along the coast path to Lyme Regis (approx 8.5 miles). There are also options for some small circular walks en-route as well.
There are some particularly stunning cliffs and valleys that we will come across on this section of the coast path and so there will be some steep ascending and descending at times. As the walks are not circular from start to finish we would either need to double back on our route or we can use the regular bus service to get back to the yha in Beer.
