The plan is for a long weekend over the first May bank holiday. Camping at the Glen Nevis campsite which has good facilites including a restaurant and bar:

The price is approx £10-15 per person per night (there is currently an early bird discount on for 4 nights for the price of 3)

I plan on leaving Newbury on Thursday evening 2nd May and stopping overnight en-route arriving on the Friday. Then staying at the campsite for 4 nights returning on the Tuesday 7th May.

I Hope to do Ben Nevis via the cmd Arete route following the horseshoe ridge finishing with a scramble up to the summit. For those not keen can you can walk directly from the campsite and do the tourist path up and back again.
I also plan to do the ring of steel circular ridge route. This is a full day out with some exposure in parts plus a fun looking wire bridge to cross on the way down!
I’m also thinking of a trip to GlenCoe to do Bidean Nam Bian (3 sisters) amongst other things.
