This is a placeholder as the event is not yet confirmed nor are the start and finish days
The plan is for a long weekend over the first May bank holiday. Camping at the Glen Nevis campsite which has good facilites including a restaurant and bar:
The plan is to do Ben Nevis via the cmd Arete route following the horseshoe ridge finishing with a grade 1 scramble up to the summit. Those not keen can walk directly from the campsite and do the never ending tourist path up and back again.
I also plan to do the ring of steel circular ridge route. This is a full day out with some exposure in parts plus a fun looking wire bridge to cross on the way down!
The trip may extend for a few more days to include a possibly overnight bothy, Glen Coe or any other multitude of things!
