Ashmansworth Circular Walk – Sunday, 6th October
Time: 10.30pm
Location: Ashmansworth Village Centre, RG20 9ST
I hope you can come along for a circular walk that has options! We can make it either a 9 mile walk or it can be extended to 11/12 miles.
From the village of Ashmansworth we head towards Crux Easton and south onto the Brenda Parker Way up to the village of Faccombe, where we may be able to have a drink at the pub. We then continue onto the Wayfarers Walk with great views across towards the Ridgeway and head back to Ashmansworth.
Directions: Head south on the Andover Road out of Newbury (A343). Go through Highclere and turn right at The Pheasant Pub (used to be The Yew Tree) and continue for about 1 ½ miles along a narrow road. When you get to the village, park along the road on the right near the Memorial and Village Green.
What to bring: packed lunch, drinks, snacks etc.
Hopefully the rain will have stopped, but it may be muddy! Please let me know if you are able to come…
