In January, we traditionally find a nice bunkhouse with a roaring fire and comfy sofas, and I think you will like what we have found for 2016. Nestled in a remote valley beneath Pen Y Fan, but about a 10 minute drive from Brecon, Cwmcynwyn Farm ticks the boxes. It’s less than a 3 hour drive from Newbury!

If you would like to join us in the New Year for some fine mountain walking (or biking) possibly in snowy conditions during the day, coming back to some great accommodation in the evening, then let me know. The cost of the accommodation will be £50 per person for the weekend assuming 12 people come, and there will be a group meal on the Saturday night.
