The weather looks good so before the evenings begin to shorten, come along and join us for a local evening walk. A great way to exercise and relax after a hard day at work!
The plan is to meet The Bladebone Inn at Chapel Row, near Upper Bucklebury at 6.00pm. (GR: 571697). You can park outside the Inn (it is now closed) or by the common to the left.
We will then head down towards the picturesque village of Stanford Dingley, and the River Pang, hopefully finding the ‘Blue Pools’ and then head back. The distance is approximately 4miles, so this will give us plenty of time to get back to a local hostelry to eat, there are a few good pubs around the area. When I know numbers I will book a table.
