Julie and Phil have kindly offered to organise a walk on Saturday, 25th February.
The walk encompasses good variety, starting at Chilton Foliat, traverses a lovely stretch of the Kennet, over the hill to Cobbs Farm Shop and café, then a section along the canal, followed by another Wiltshire hill with good views, past Littlecote and back over the Kennet. Worth the 8 mile walk for Cobb’s sausage rolls alone!
Meet at the lay-by as you leave Chilton Foliat on the B4192 towards Aldbourne (grid ref 316705) at 10.30am After passing St Mary’s Church on your right, the lay-by is about 100m after the final house on your left. There is space for at least 8 cars to park.
