We hope you can come along and join us for our traditional annual walk and Christmas meal. This is a relaxed social day and involves a ‘mince pie and mulled wine/cider stop’ along the way finishing with a pub meal.
Claire has kindly offered to lead the walk which will be starting from Thatcham Station at 10am. If catching the train there from Newbury Station, it departs at 9:47.
The walk is approximately 10 miles and includes canal, woods, the River Enborne, and Greenham Common, with a mulled wine/cider and mince pie stop along the way. It will probably also include a lot of mud! So you may wish to bring spare footwear for the pub. Aiming to arrive at The Plough around 3.30pm.
If you are not coming to the meal you are still welcome on the walk, and hopefully you’ll have time for a drink in The Plough.
