North Wales: Llanberis, Snowdonia
The last trip of the year is approaching. We have an excellent house in Llanberis, in the heart of Yr Wydffa (Snowdonia). The bedrooms are a mixture of twins and doubles, there’s a large sitting room with wood burner, and a sauna! Bed linen is included – no sleeping bags required!
On Saturday, there will be a navigation exercise similar to previous years. This is entirely voluntary and 5-15K in length, depending on how much you/your group choose to do. Briefing Friday evening when you arrive. If you’re not sure what this entails just ask previous attendees – it is a lot of fun, no matter what your skill level or the weather!
Whatever level of your challenge, back to the house for canapes and roast dinner.
On Sunday, a suggestion is taking Foxes path to Australia and up to the Velociraptor Pen. We also have the accommodation Sunday night, so you can shower even if leaving that day. Sunday’s meal will be currying whatever is left over from the Saturday.
Cost for the 3 nights will be between £50 and £75 depending on numbers and an additional £15 for an enormous home cooked Christmas Dinner!!!
