Starting from Cold Ash we will head down into the Pang Valley heading towards Frilsham, and then onto the picturesque village of Stanford Dingley where there is a chance to stop for a drink in The Bull. Let’s hope the good weather continues.
Start time: 10.00am
Meeting place: Â Cold Ash Recreation Ground. If you are coming from Thatcham go through the village on the Hermitage Road, just past the crossroads where the road from Ashmore Green comes up the hill. Parking is on the left by the park and Village hall (OS 158 -1:25,000 Grid Ref 500703).
Distance: Approximately 18-20 km
What to bring: packed lunch, drinks, snacks etc. The common land may be muddy so boots and possibly gaiters would be a good idea. Waterproofs plus sun cream depending on the weather.
