Over the years many of us have frequented the Real Ale Festival held in field behind the Northcroft Leisure Centre. It’s a very relaxing, chilled out day for all ages! There are real ales, cider, food stalls and live music. It is a good idea to bring chairs/picnic rugs.
So if you would like to build up a thirst beforehand then I hope you can join us on a walk.
Time: 10.30 am
Where: meet outside Northcroft Leisure Centre
Distance: approximately 7 miles
We will start by walking along part of the Lambourn Way, then head over to Marsh Benham, Hampstead Marshall, past Avery’s Pightle (Nature Reserve) and back along the canal. We should be back in Newbury between 2 and 3 o’clock. We will stop en route for lunch.
Hope to see you on the walk or later on in the day.
Please let me know if you are able to come on the walk, reply to Maggie.
