Circular walk from Pangbourne.
The walk starts in the village of Pangbourne. We will walk across the River Thames into Whitchurch, and head east walking past Boze Down vineyard, where it may be tempting to make a brief stop! Then we follow the Chiltern Way and head west, back to the Thames where we pick up the Thames path back to Whitchurch. Approximately 8-9 miles.
Meeting place: In Pangbourne. Go through the village, under the railway bridge and then turn right into Thames Avenue. At the end you will find the Recreation Car Park which is free. OS Explorer 159 Reading, Wokingham & Pangbourne SU 637 767
What to bring: packed lunch, drinks, snacks etc.
We may stop afterwards for a drink. There are various pubs in both Whitchurch and Pangbourne plus tea shops.
