I hope you can join us for a short circular walk, and a visit to Welford Place and the Snowdrop walk. If you haven’t been before it really is a spectacular sight and they date from Norman times. Entrance fee is £7.00. After walking around the park we plan to visit the cafe for a well-deserved tea/coffee and cake. www.welfordpark.co.uk

 Meeting place:  Welford Place Snowdrop Walk Car Park for – go past the entrance to the house and the car park is on the right. (OS 158 -1:25,000 Grid Ref: 412 735) Post code: RG20 HU. Â
Walk: From Welford we will head towards Great Shefford and up onto the Downs. Distance: approximately 9km
What to bring: packed lunch, drinks, snacks etc.
Please let me know if you are able to come, so we don’t go without you and can possibly arrange car sharing.
Day walks are open to Non-members so feel free to come along…Â
