Vernham Dean & Fosbury Castle
This is a lovely 8-mile route starting from Vernham Dean recreation ground. Following paths and tracks through fields, parkland and woodland and eventually climbing up to Fosbury hill fort where we will stop for sandwiches and views…weather permitting!
Meet at Vernham Dean recreation ground at 10 for a 10.15 am start
About 2.5 hours walking plus stops.
