I have booked The John O’Gaunt Pub, Bridge Street in Hungerford for our annual Christmas lunch at 1.15pm with the Christmas walk beforehand.
Where: Start at Hungerford train station.
When: Meet at the station at 9.15am, the 9.01 train from Newbury to Hungerford arrives at 9.10. I suggest that those who catch the train meet at Newbury station at 8.50, if 4 people can group together to buy a ticket they can get a discount. The standard fare is £4.70 return.
What: The walk will start from the station and we will head along the canal path towards Little Bedwyn and then back into Hungerford. It is traditional to have a mince pie and mulled wine stop along the way, so do bring some along!
Food:
There is a choice of either a 2 course meal for £22, or a 3 course meal for £27. I need to confirm numbers with the pub, so to book please:

Non-walkers are welcome to join us at the pub for the meal.
