Clarendon Way (from Salisbury to Winchester)

Organiser: Claire

Attended by: Claire, Alan, Keyna, James, Dan U, Sarah R

The Clarendon Way crosses the Test Valley stretching between Salisbury and Winchester, with a variety of scenery ranging from water meadows, woodlands and hills of the downs.
This was the epic tale of Dan and James’ getting ‘lost’ more than once on the well sign posted 24 miles of the Clarendon Way, ending up on a housing estate and finally getting a lift to the finish! Therefore, walking at least 28 miles in total. Next time how about using maps, modern technology (i-phones etc) and landmarks such as the huge cathedral spires of Winchester?
