Once again we stayed in the comfy Blencathra Barn. On Saturday we all had a great day out ascending Helvellyn, some scambled up Striding Edge whilst others ascended via Swirrel Ridge. We had to convince Tricia that she could do it and all credit to her she made it! Pokey made it to below the ridge but decided to turn round with young Sam in his backpack, who had just achieved his first Wainwright!
